Tram forms an integral part of Kolkata's culture and heritage. A trip to kolkata is incomplete without a tram ride. Not only heritage, tram was actually the most important transportation systems during its initial days. The invention of tram dates back in the colonial era when the horse-driven trams were first introduced in UK.
